Mutual visa-free
Malaysia → China study camps: entry rules
Ordinary passport holders from Malaysia can enter China visa-free for short stays that cover typical DXJ study camps.
What the rules say
Visa-free for up to 30 days (mutual agreement)
Single stay up to 30 days; within any 180-day period, total stay up to 90 days.
Ordinary-passport mutual exemption in effect since 2025-07-17.
Passport should be valid for at least 6 months at entry (per the China–Malaysia mutual exemption notice).
Border inspection may ask for proof matching your purpose (invitation, tickets, accommodation). Carry camp confirmation and flight bookings.
Visa-free entry does not cover work, degree study, or news reporting — those need the matching visa in advance.
What this means for DXJ camps
Short DXJ camps commonly fit a 30-day single stay. Keep the whole group itinerary inside the agreement limits, including the 180-day cumulative cap where it applies.
Message your advisor with preferred camp dates. We’ll match a line inside your stay window — for example Chongqing camp · Chengdu camp · Shenzhen · HK camp.
