China visa-free entry and study camps in 2026

Short camps are easier when entry rules fit your passport. Pick your country below, use the checklist, and message an advisor for dates that fit.

China’s unilateral visa-free policy covers ordinary passport holders from 50 countries for business, tourism, family visits, exchange, and transit — up to 30 days. Chinese Embassy FAQs state that study tours / summer and winter camps within 30 days are included. Stay is counted from 00:00 on the day after entry. For most of those countries the current schedule runs through 31 December 2026 (Brunei has no end date; Russia has a separate schedule).

Separate mutual visa-exemption agreements cover ordinary passports from countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore (typically up to 30 days per stay; Thailand and Malaysia also limit cumulative stay within 180 days).

If your nationality needs a visa for a dedicated camp, DXJ assists with invitation letters and pre-departure guidance. Also see the FAQ and parent safety guide.
