Many DXJ camps are built for schools, youth organizations, and partner groups — not only individual families. This guide outlines the usual planning path so teachers and group leaders know what to prepare.
What to decide early
- Theme — Mandarin + culture, future-tech / robotics, city innovation, or ancient-capital heritage (e.g. Xi’an)
- City — examples include Chengdu, Chongqing, and Shenzhen · Hong Kong
- Group size and ages — helps us match housing and staffing
- Dates and length — most lines can be tailored for school calendars
How planning usually works
- Send a short brief (ages, headcount, country, theme or city preference)
- Receive a draft program outline: study blocks, visits, housing type, supervision notes
- Confirm entry rules for every passport — see our visa-free guide; we assist with invitations when a visa is needed
- Align parent communication: named advisor, arrival check-in, emergency contacts — see for parents
- Lock the plan and prepare packing / arrival logistics before departure
