Parent safety checklist for China study camps
Before you book, get clear answers on who accompanies students, where they stay, and how you hear from the team.
Parents usually ask the same questions first: Who looks after my child? Where do they sleep? How will I know they arrived? This guide walks through what to confirm with DXJ before you commit — then dig deeper on our for parents page.
Daytime supervision
- Camp days run on a fixed schedule with accompanying program staff
- Students move as a group for classes, meals, and visits
- Free time is limited and stays inside the published program plan
Housing before you pay
Accommodation is arranged per camp — typically university housing or partner hotels. Room type and night-time arrangements should appear in the plan before payment. Ask for that sheet in writing.
Health notes and on-site response
Share allergies and health notes at sign-up. Staff follow on-site response steps and contact the emergency number you provide. Insurance and hospital notes are listed in that camp’s plan.
Named contact and arrival check-in
You get a named advisor. Agree how urgent updates reach you (WhatsApp / WeChat / email) and what “arrived safely” looks like on day one.
